after reading the heart wrenching book
PS, I Love You
i started to think about stuff.

yup stuff..
it must sound rather lame huh
reflections just by reading a book.
but really, while reading through the book
i started to comprehend how we have to live life.

we only live once.
(well, that's what i believe at least)
and we should live without regrets.
imagine leaving everything behind and you realise in that moment that there are so many things you havent done
so many things you never tried,
so many people you never love, cared or tried to reach out to
and you start to regret,
there's no going back.
no going back at all.
live life to the fullest
for God's greatest gift to us is not money, not material things
but LIFE.
our dear Daddy God breathed life into these bones of us
to let us experience, treasure, love, grow and also to do His good works.
many a times we are sidetracked by all the downs in life, the sorrows,worries and fears
but we should be HAPPY and stay POSITIVE because the going will definitely get better.
as an inspirational quote from ELISHA THAM AKA MUGGER THAM:

"God didn't promise days without pain,
laughter without sorrow,
sun without rain.
But He did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears,
and light for the way."

this quote really comforts me.
our Daddy God is really there all the time for us
to teach us
and to guide us.
if life was to be so easy,
why do we live?
it's because of all those down times that the sweet times taste even sweeter.

we should live to treasure our friends, our family, our loved ones
treasure each and every single day we have with them
because we never know when life would end.
i know i sound like im preaching the forty days of community and i know to some of my friends im starting to sound really religious
but somehow,
i feel that God is telling me something in this series of chapel sermons entitled the FORTY DAYS of COMMUNITY.
i've learnt to cherish my friends more than ever before
learnt to cherish my BESTIE! and other besties(:
learnt to love my family more.
more importantly,
i've learnt how important it is to give more and take less
although if you're let to give, im let to recieve(:
i've learnt how a hug can give so much comfort
i've learnt how to show care to others
i've learnt how to place others above myself
i've learnt how i should live my life to the fullest and not give up everytime an obstacle turns up and the pressure mounts.
after all,
i have my Daddy God, my guardian angel looking down at me from high above
loving me every moment and guiding me all the way
i've nothing to fear.
nothing at all.

yesterday, someone told me that life wasnt really worth living and i agreed with him
saying that if you trust in Man, you'll be very disappointed..
now i think i'll take that back.
life IS worth living
because of the people around you
because of all the things you could do
because of the immense love we can share with the people around us
because others need us around
because we have a purpose to fufill
and because we have FRIENDS(:

BESTIE!
i really really wanna thank you for everything(:
being there for me when im down
and entertaining me with your lameness(:
honestly,
you're one person i have a lot in common with.
haha.
cheers to all the days where our friendship i hope(I KNOW) will last a lifetime(:

i recieved a really suprising sms( it was a nice surprise(: )
and i just wanna tell the person that it's just that i've changed and matured.
if you remembered i wasnt like that last time..
all of us can change
you're a good person(:

for once i felt like i was doing something right
that i was showing care for my friends and not being selfish all the time
