HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHOO JIA YI!!!!haha.
went to eat after training today with the true choos and pzee.
THE FOOD WAS DAMNNNNN GOOD.
haha
ate and ate and ate.
cause we had a bunch of people who couldnt run,
coach made us do 5 sets of 25 abs.
it was seriously seriously physically demanding.
oh yeah,
yesterday met up with marshall intending to practise the song,
and ended up playing badminton instead.
sigh.
played till my body is now aching ALL over.
oh well.
just the other day,
saw this old lady who rushed to grab a seat
and when we had first offered to give up our seat to her,
she refused.
it made me wonder.
if we as young adults are taught to let our seats to the elderly and those with children,
and we do so,
then why do these people refuse the seats?
is it because they think that it is very embarassing and it's a huge dent to their ego?
i wonder if they ever thought about the other party's feelings.
to be rejected although they offered a kind gesture.
Adding on,
when the next seat is empty,
they will run for it.
sometimes i really agree when foreigners say that we are kiasu.
because it is a fact.
all the times when i listen to a programme on the chinese radio,
people would call in to complain or reply to a statement made by leaving a message.
many a times they will complain that we students are not giving up our seats,
or being respectful or courteous.
I guess of all the times i've been on a public transport,
the people who usually give up the seats are the students and young adults.
what about the working adults?
students do work as hard as adults and face as much stress.
When students go shopping in their school uniforms,
the salesgirls and shop owners would turn their noses down at us
and keep eyeing us as we browse through the items on display.
WE ARE STUDENTS.
NOT CRIMINALS.
does it mean that those who are welldressed wont pickpocket as well?
i think not.
we have to get rid of this mentality.
havent they all been students once upon a time?
i wonder when we will ever stop getting ostracised?
it's true when they say
"it takes only one bad apple to spoil all the others"
one person or a group of people can affect the impression people have on that group of people.
like the 陪读妈妈 or the bangladeshi workers.
i believe that it took only a few of them to do something wrong
and people just stereotyped all of them to be bad.
CHANGE THAT MENTALITY.
euphoria later!
yay!
im gonna change my blogskin soon.
manda says it's too hard to navigateXD
tomorrow's topic will be on....
"You're too young to have depression"DO YOU AGREE?
toodles!
