HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!haha.
had a great time during the national day celebrations in school yesterday.
went to school in home clothes then had to go and report for backgate duty
then i switched with felicia to do side gate duty.
so i did side gate duty with lokemann and DO YOU KNOW WHAT???!!!
THE SIDEGATE WASNT EVEN OPEN!!!
hurhur.
the both of us didnt even do anythingXD
just stand there
...
boring...NOlife.... i know(:
then went to help give out food.
darn.
it was then i remembered i forgot the very thing i wanted to bring.
MY CAMERA.
oh wells.
the school gave us each a packet drink, a slice of cake and M&Ms.
wheee..
hahaXD
after i took the m&ms i felt DAMN HYPER.
after the sec 3s and 4s had their 20min break,
we went up to the hall to learn mass dance
DAMN FUN!!!
4G2 led us groovin to a song from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!
cant rmb the song title but the song IS SUPER NICE.
jeraldine and Puisheen were like making up their own movesXD
damn hilarious.
then after we learnt the dance and stuff,
the sec 1s and 2s came pouring in and the celebrations started.
I TELL YOU.THIS IS THE BEST NDP EVER!!!!
for the first time.
i felt so gleeful and HYPER and PATRIOTIC!!
it was nice to see what happened in olden day singapore in the videos i guess.
they gave us clappers! and and and SINGAPORE FLAGSXDhaha
Pui sheen, Jeraldine and Jia Yi were busy joining the flags together.
THE PERFORMANCE
started off with a BANG with the CRESCENT GIRLS' SCHOOL SYMPHONIC BAND!
they played two ballads. one was a compliation from The Lion King.
the other was a compliation of oldies.
while that was happening, every one was clapping their clappers.
and ya!
alicia and hui ying somehow taught us how to personalise ur clapper.
u have to take it apart and fix it back with other colour parts from other coloured clappers.
lol
DAMN FUN.
after the band,
we had the first run of COMMUNITY SINGING.
it was AWESOME.
most of the class linked hands in two lines and swayed and sang together and we did KALLANG waves,
DAMN LAMEXD
we all SANG OUR HEARTS OUT.
then we had dance performances.
Alyssa, Zifang and Lam were ALL GREAT as usual(:
there were two dances.
one was speaking of grace
the other was of vibrancy,it was the syf dance.
super nice!
then HAD MORE COMMUNITY SINGING.
same thing happened(:
then had more videos,
ohoh
AND THE TEACHERS' FASHION PARADE!!!
it was super hilarious.
shant go into details.
then a full dance item by the whole modern and chinese dance society
then MORE COMMUNITY SINGING!!!!

i had awesome fun.
the celebrations drew to a close with the malay society with their angklungs.
beautiful.
IM PROUD OF SINGAPORE.

and arranged the tables

then went to tiong with sandra and karen to meet sean and lil boy leonard
and we went to watch click!
it was super good.
I CRIED near the end
when the touching scene came out
this is not the touching scene in case you were wondering
though,
I CANT BELIEVE THE SHOW IS PG.
it has loads of crude content and sexual emphasis.
yeah!
but not that im really complainingXD
oh and one thing.
THE FEMALE LEAD IS DAMN HOT.
she's damn hot
after the movie,
karen and sandra went to buy tickets for the lake house
then sean, leonard and i went to bk to eat
saw tweeny and all the other dancers.
then after that leonard made us promise to go for Annual parade
but in the end....
WE DIDNT GO!!!
HURHUR.
oh well,
