Today was pretty tiring for me....well fun and interesting in a way. Let's see...we started with a i-movie on the events that the school went thru this past year...it was pretty interesting and funny when all those old memories come rushing back...haha like Mr Josef and his "nice"ball shaped hair........and the skit about Mr Ho, Miss Malini and some maths teacher.......haha....lamer.....Mr Ho trying to be a disco king.....I laughed till i almost cried....the i-movie was great..really.....especially miss Shervon dancing......haha....Ok, then we had to sit thru this 2 hour long choral reading crap i mean like art awareness day is long over!!!If that was not bad enough, the air-cons were on at full blast and the fans were also on!!!!I was almost frozen to the chair!If not for me running out of the hall for warmth, I certainly would have.
Next we had some kinda lame newspaper article writing thing in class....wrote and rewrote......got absolutely fed up.I hate this kinda stuff. I mean look here people....exams are already over!!!!!!Oh well.....we were let off at 12noon but still had to stay back to go to peace haven the nursing home to do CIP.Then mama(bernette) made us stay back to decide what we would do...heyy....it is like non of our bee's wax cuz they were supposed to decide on it like a month ago, juz that they didn't wanna do it...oh well but that is over now.I dun really blame them.
I was really excited at going to peace haven particularly cuz I have been to nursing homes before to visit the elderly and the experience had been enriching, and I was right at having an enriching experience.Ok, I know I am making it sound like a really perfect trip, but it didn't exactly start off on a good note.First, was the bus journey...peace haven was located some where in Changi and it would take more then half an hour to get there.If we had a nice bus with good air conditioning we would be ok but heyy what we did get was a lousy bus with lousy air conditioning!!!!Not to mention a lousy driver.The air was already so stifling in the bus but the bus driver had to make it worse by missing peace haven...he drove past it!!!I mean like please look properly!!!The sign is down there and we all saw it and he juz blindly drove past!!!Then he drove a huge round back which took another 15mins!!!!Baka driver!!!!
Okok...we did reach though....we were asked to split up into four groups...that was kinda ok....then, "best" of all, my group were let into a men's ward!!!!!!Hoo boy......we started off by singing some retarded song cuz the commitee didn't prepare properly.....well, they seemed to enjoy it cuz one man came up and started swaying and singing "burong kak kak tua".We next split up into pairs to interact with them...they were pretty ok though some of them are mentally ill...there was this old man who was so cool!!!He could speak Dutch, english, chinese, dialect, japanese and goodness knows what else!!!He also told us that he was a teacher teaching maths and english before and after that he became a sea man!!!So cool rite!!!He is so smart...okok...won't go into must detail....soon we has to leave....the going back trip was so much better than the trip going there......almost fell asleep was so tired....
Sigh..now I have a big problem.....whether to go to church or to watch the canoeing com on sunday....i dunno....maybe I'll go to church then go there....hoo boy ...I juz dun wanna let bro wen xing or God down again. Somehow, I juz feel so lost and confused...sigh....will think bout it....
